The recreation area with an open-air pool next to a torrent is a project inspired by the forms and colours of the environment. The curved meander forms of the river and the reddish colour of the wood on its banks blend into the buildings. GEO- arquitectura takes up these lines using railway sleepers as palisades to bridge the difference in altitude.
The wooden foot- and bicycle path winds its way like a whirl along the colourfully designed leisure area. Broken tiles in different shades of red and orange are used together with ”old baked” bricks as covering. The colour red concentrates in the patches in the shower area, the children bathing area and on the island. Yellow lights on the edge of the pool close the colour circle leading to the turquoise-blue bottom of the swimming pool. Its colour originates in the reflections of the river.
